Foster parents reunite a mother dog (the only white dog) with her puppies at Janelle McFarlane’s house in Grand Rapids. McFarlane is the director/founder of Grand Rapids-based Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue, which lately found foster homes for eight homeless dogs recently flown into Grand Rapids from Beirut, Lebanon. The dogs likely would not survive if McFarlanes non-profit rescue had not stepped in. The mixed-breed dogs (four adults and four puppies) will be available for adoption Saturday, Dec. 10 at Pets Supplies Plus, 2033 28th St. SW.
