Fenn Valley Winery finished their red fermenter pressing at the winery on Monday November 20th 2017. The late summer heat wave with hot sunny days and warm nights helped create a bountiful harvest for Michigan’s winemakers. Many winemakers are reporting record harvests and flavorful fruit, anxious to see their 2017 white and red varietals bottled and in the tasting rooms. The late heat wave also extended the harvest season, with many wineries finishing up the second week of November. (Photo by Katy Batdorff Special to the Detroit News)
