Local artist Tansy Harris stands in the doorway of the Harris building where she has volunteered to help create window displays for the upcoming Holly Jolly. She recently found out that the same building was once owned by her great grandfather, L.C. Harris, of Harris Sample Furniture, which has since become shuttered. Holly Jolly is a city-wide shopping event, with 47 businesses and 3 vacant buildings.
