Scopitone VidBox is a collaboration between 4 working new media artists, Michael Cook, Dan Climie, Trevor Ditmar, and Sean Sterns (in video) whose interests lie in furthering the Grand Rapids music community through audio and visual projects. They are showing their ArtPrize video projections on the front window of the Pyramid Scheme. When asked if he would enter ArtPrize next year, Michael Cook replied ‘Yes. As working artists, we are always asking questions about how our work fits, and is perceived in a growing city like Grand Rapids. I think this event, in a city the size of Grand Rapids is a perfect testing ground for all types of art big and small, and can give you so much valuable feedback. It’s a great way to show work to an audience that would have otherwise never seen your work.’
